ANTALYA

Antalya is Turkey's principal holiday resort in the Mediterranean region. This area was formerly known as ancient Pamphyia. Antalya is a beautiful city combining ancient and modern, both living in perfect harmony with the other. If you are looking for beautiful historical artifacts or chic city living - this is the place for you!

Antalya was founded in the second century BC by Attalus II and has been continually inhabited since. The Romans, Byzantines and Seljuks in turn occupied the city before it came under Ottoman rule.

Antalya epitomises a contemporary lifestyle with palm lined boulevards and intimate street cafes, the charming old quarter, known as Kaleici, overlooks the award winning marina - allegedly frequented by the jet-set!

Enclosed by the city's historic walls, the narrow streets of Kaleici  are lined with fabulous houses - some of which have been converted to boutiques, hotels and art galleries. 

In addition to the history there is an abundance of of holiday persuits - how about scuba diving-jet ski-mountain climbing -trekking and of course not forgetting the fabulous new Aquapark.

Visit the wonderful Upper Duden waterfall and experience the beauty of the cascading falls as you walk within the cavern. On the way to the area known as Lara (fabulous shopping area), you can find the lower Duden Waterfalls, which plunge directly into the sea. 

Imagine sunbathing in the morning and skiing in the afternoon - in this area of Turkey this is possible!

Saklikent is located 50 km from Antalya and is an ideal winter sports resort - it is situated on the Northern slopes of Bakirli Mountain at an altitude of 1.750 to 1.900 metres. 

BELEK

Belek is more than just a golfers paradise...

The Belek region is located just 30 km to the east of Antalya. The history of Belek dates back to the 4th century BC, the area was named by the people who moved from Crete and the area was inhabited by only 70 families!

The population grew with people coming from Cyprus and Bulgaria.

After decisions by the President and Mayor to create a tourist  destinationin Belek, the town has gone from strength to strength. Today, Belek now offers everything that you could want from a holiday destination -fabulous beaches, wonderful waterfalls, a selection of historical sites, nightlife, shops, restaurants and of course the golf courses. 

Belek was chosen as a tourist model, not just for todays tourist - but for the next thousand years!

The region has 32 four or five star hotels and five golf courses, all of which are first class.
