Kas and Kalkan
Kas
Kas was originally called Habesos or Habesa and was later given the name of Antiphellos. Today this coastal town attracts visitors of different nationalities and ages flocking to the two beaches, shopping and the attractive Harbour.
The Kas peninsula is a wonderful location, the views across the sea to the Greek island of Meis are spectacular and the land slopes to the rocky coastline where you can plunge straight into the water from swimming platforms.
The town has two beached - Big Pebble beach and little pebble beach, however more beaches can be reached by taking a water taxi to the other side of the bay.
Kalkan
Kalkan is a lovely small hilltop town that overlooks a beautifull bay, with traditional white washed houses preserving the charm of the old town-building regulations have preserved the charachter of the old town and port, allowing development to spread towards the mountains in an architecectural style in keeping with the original greek style houses.
Rooftop restaurants overlook the bay and stylish marina, while you enjoy the coming and goings of the yachts and the panoramic view.
